Acceptance

Use of this site indicates acceptance of these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should not use the site. The terms are published by New Contingent, which operates newcontingent.online.

Eligibility

This site and any material sold through it are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Accounts, purchases and correspondence are not accepted from anyone below that age.

Licence to use the material

Material bought through this site is licensed, not sold. The licence is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable, and permits use for personal, non-commercial purposes. Redistribution, resale, public posting, sub-licensing and the creation of derivative works for distribution are not permitted without written permission.

Intellectual property

Text, design, code and other material on this site are the property of New Contingent or are used with permission, and are protected by Brazilian and international copyright law. Short quotations for review, commentary or academic purposes are permitted with attribution. Research described on this site remains the property of the researchers and publishers responsible for it, and is described here rather than reproduced.

No professional relationship

Nothing on this site creates a professional relationship of any kind. New Contingent is not a financial adviser, legal adviser, employment adviser, accountant, medical practitioner or counsellor, and none of its material substitutes for advice from a qualified professional acting on knowledge of an individual situation.

No claim of results

Material published or sold by New Contingent is descriptive and editorial. No result, outcome, benefit, income, saving or change of circumstance is promised, implied or estimated, and the material is not presented as a method, system, formula, protocol or set of steps that produces an outcome.

Accuracy

Material is prepared with care from published sources, and sources are named so that the original work can be consulted. Research changes, and a summary that was accurate when published may be overtaken by later work. Corrections are published as described on the corrections page.

Payments and disputes

Prices are shown at the point of purchase and payment is processed by a third-party provider under its own terms. Where a charge appears to be incorrect, contacting support@newcontingent.online is usually the fastest route to resolving it, and a request made under the refund policy will be handled in full. Raising a dispute directly with a card issuer remains available at any time and is not restricted by these terms.

Availability

This site is provided as it stands. Continuous or uninterrupted availability is not undertaken, and access may be suspended for maintenance or for reasons outside the control of New Contingent.

Termination

Access may be withdrawn where these terms are breached, in particular where material is redistributed or where the site is used unlawfully.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this site or its material is excluded. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and consumer rights under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and other applicable consumer legislation are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Mandatory consumer protections available in a consumer's country of residence continue to apply.

Changes

These terms may be revised. The date above records the most recent revision, and continued use of the site after a revision indicates acceptance of it.
