Refund policy

Paid material carries a 30-day refund period, requested by email.

Last updated: September 2026.

The period

A refund may be requested within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. The purchase date is the date the payment was authorised, as shown on the transaction record. A request sent within the period is accepted even if it is processed after the period has closed.

How a request is made

Requests are made by email to support@newcontingent.online. A message should include the email address used at the time of purchase and the approximate purchase date. Where the name on the transaction differs from the name on the account, including both helps locate the record.

No reason has to be given. A brief explanation is welcome because it informs how the material is edited, but it is not a condition and a request without one is handled the same way.

How long it takes

Requests are acknowledged within two business days. Once approved, the refund is submitted to the payment provider, usually within five business days. The time for the money to appear then depends on the card issuer or bank, and commonly falls between five and fifteen business days after submission. Refunds are returned to the original payment method; they cannot be sent to a different card, account or person.

Limits

  • One refund per purchase.
  • Requests made after the 30-day period are outside this policy, though statutory rights are unaffected and any such request will still receive a reply.
  • Repeated cycles of purchase and refund by the same person, or requests connected to redistribution of the material, may be declined.
  • Access to the material ends when a refund is issued, and the licence granted in the terms of use ends with it.

Statutory rights

This policy sits alongside consumer law and does not replace it. Under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, a consumer who buys away from business premises may withdraw within seven days of purchase or receipt. Consumers elsewhere retain the cancellation and refund rights available under the law of their own country. Where a statutory right is wider than this policy, the statutory right applies.

Payment disputes

Contacting support@newcontingent.online is usually faster than a dispute raised through a card issuer, because a refund can be submitted the same day. Raising a dispute with an issuer is nonetheless a right and remains available at any time, whether or not a request has been made here first.
